Refund & Cancellation
Aura GPT offers a 7-day „satisfied or your money back" guarantee, with no need to give a reason. Sales, invoicing and refunds are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd., acting as authorised reseller (Merchant of Record).
1. Who handles payments and refunds
The Aura GPT service is provided by AVi Kairos Srl, a company incorporated under Romanian law with its registered office in Brașov. The sale of subscriptions, invoicing, VAT collection and the handling of refunds are carried out by Paddle.com Market Ltd., acting as Merchant of Record (MoR). This means that Paddle is the contractual counterparty for the purchase and manages payments and refunds, while AVi Kairos provides the software application. You can handle a refund request through Paddle (the link is in the confirmation e-mail you received from Paddle) or by writing to [email protected], in which case we will forward your request to Paddle.
2. The 7-day „satisfied or your money back" guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, Aura GPT voluntarily offers a refund guarantee within 7 days of your purchase. Within this period you may request a full refund without having to give a reason. This guarantee applies to the first purchase of a subscription and is granted independently of the statutory rights described below, giving you additional protection.
3. EU right of withdrawal (14 days) and the digital services exception
For contracts concluded at a distance, consumers in the European Union are generally entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal, without penalty and without having to give a reason.
There is, however, an exception for digital content and services: if you request immediate access to or performance of the service and give your express consent to this, acknowledging that you lose the right of withdrawal once supply has begun, the 14-day right of withdrawal may lapse (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; in Romania, OUG no. 34/2014). Regardless of this exception, the voluntary 7-day guarantee described above remains valid.
4. How to request a refund
You can obtain a refund in two ways:
- using the link in your Paddle confirmation e-mail, which lets you manage your subscription and request the refund directly;
- by writing to [email protected], stating the e-mail address used for the purchase and, if available, your Paddle order number; we will forward the request to Paddle for processing.
5. Subscription cancellation and automatic renewal
PRO Lunar subscriptions (€21/month) renew monthly, while PRO Anual — Fondatoare offer (€99/first year) renews annually. You can cancel at any time from your account or through Paddle. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and your access remains active until the end of the period already paid for. No pro-rata refunds are given for a period already started, except under the 7-day guarantee or where required by law.
6. Fondatoare offer
The Fondatoare offer costs €99 for the first year and is limited to the first 99 users. After the first year, the subscription renews at the standard rate of €199/year, unless you cancel before renewal. The terms of this offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
7. Refund timing
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the same payment method used for the purchase. Crediting of the amount usually takes between 5 and 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Exact timing is managed by Paddle.
8. EU consumer protection
You benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the EU country in which you reside, which cannot be set aside by this policy. You may contact ANPC (the National Authority for Consumer Protection, Romania – anpc.ro) and use the European online dispute resolution platform (ODR) at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
